During my time I have been successful in implementing a proactive media strategy which has lifted the profile of the organisation by up to 80%.This has been an internal/external and building the brand from scratch campaign. When I arrived at NSW Ambulance the organisation had no external profile. NSW Police was known as the “lead agency” and there was a misconception that paramedics were simply “drivers”. My campaign has been three phased. Educating the public, the Government and re-engaging the internal workforce.I have built the brand across all platforms concurrently with an aggressive strategy in order to have the Ambulance Service recognised as a frontline emergency service worker rather than a “taxi to hospital”.This includes the internal communications tool Workplace by Facebook. Internal engagement through internal channels including the Intranet, and video messaging by the executive to all staff. During the COVID-19 Pandemic I developed a full suite of internal communications to keep staff up to date twice a day on critical communications. This included building an Internal COVID-19 staff portal with a dashboard to keep on road front line paramedics safe and informed. Show less -
