Matchbox Cineclub is an independent exhibitor for cineoutcasts, orphans and outliers. We programme, curate and promote film events across the UK, Europe and the US, including the festivals Cage-a-rama, KeanuCon and Weird Weekend. We are also award winning access practitioners, producing descriptive subtitles and audio description to ensure cinema reaches all audiences.

Officially Europe's biggest and longest running Nicolas Cage film festival. An annual weekend long festival of films, events and special guests celebrating the iconic genius of Nicolas Cage. And yes, Nic is a fan of us.

Coordinating and organising the events calendar for the cinema, including public screenings, private hires and corporate events. Responsible for special events programming involving securing partnered events, film licence negotiations and events promotion and management. Role included coordinating all G1 venue film hires. An extension of my Grosveor Cinema role I also over saw Perth Playhouse, managing all marketing content to promote screenings and events at our second site in Perth. Coordinating with community groups, businesses and charities to ensure a positive local impact, as well as developing sales revenue through strategic retail development.

Facilitating festival guest's attendance to Document 2017, including organising travel, accommodation and weekend schedules. I also introduced films and chaired filmmakers Q&A events throughout the festival.

Teaching English as a second language to 1st and 2nd grade students with an emphasis on conversational language and strengthening vocabulary.

Restless Natives is a cross-platform multi-venue cultural festival championing indie purveyors of music, film, food, drink, business within the East End of Glasgow. My role focused on programming and events managing film screenings, social media coordinating, guest liaising, and acting as a translator for the local patter.

Programming 'Young Things', a showcase of short films by young people from across Scotland highlighting and celebrating the importance of young people undertaking the radical practice of creating film, and 'Community Cinema: For All And Everyone panel', an event bringing together some of the most exciting practitioners in community cinema and non-traditional exhibition within the UK to discuss the issues facing exhibition.

Programming and events managing the film strand of GWL's 'Sex in the Library'​, which ran as part of the Wellcome Trust's Sexology season across both the library and the Arches. The season included a wide range of events from classic queer cinema to curated sex ed archive, as well as music workshops and post screen discussions. The season won Best Education Programme at the Cinema For All Film Society of the Year Awards 2015.
