Complete direction of Event Sales Department at a world-famous, non-profit event venue with 60,000 sq feet of event space. Solely responsible for event sales and planning with revenue exceeding goals annually. Responsible for all sales, total event production from conception/contract to delivery and all details therein including entertainment, catering and beverage service, event rentals, operational set- up and event timelines. Organization and maintenance of master museum calendar for all internal and privately contracted events totaling 250+ annually. Management of 8 + event operation staff and coordination of in-house catering personnel. Solely responsible for all billing, revenue reporting, budgeting, accounting and internal expense tracking.

Responsible for event sales and production from event conception to delivery for national accounts with events ranging from 100-2000 guests. Primarily conventions and all associated ancillary events. Responsible for new business discovery, contract negotiation, event and décor design, account management, all client and vendor relations, menu and catering selections, floor plan design, booking headliner entertainment and on-site production of local and nationwide accounts. Experience in booking large group transportation, travel, arranging client and staff tours, and VIP special arrangements. Managed teams of 10+ employees and crew on-site, allocated duties and oversaw complete project management.
