I'm accountable for sales, service, and presentation standards for Children’s, Footwear, and Home Departments as well as maintaining Operational Excellence throughout my store. I direct total store team projects including department sets, price changes, continuous flow and replenishment. I I direct daily store operations such as opening the building, approving daily cash office balances and picking up excess currency, motivating cashiers to achieve daily credit goals, providing great customer service to our customers, supervising evening recovery, and closing our store at night. I directed the rollout of eSign technology for our store in October 2012, and I supervised our stockroom's conversion to an electronic MLS system and RFID scanning capability in 2013. I assisted at Kohl's in Cordova, TN after tornado damage in July 2009, and I've also provided temporary help to stores in Manchester MO, Mt. Vernon IL, and Paducah, KY.

My responsibilities included creating and posting department fliers and announcements, Xeroxing class materials for professors, preparing and sending department mailings and emails, distributing mail, organizing department files and materials, helping organize department events, leading prospective student tours, and assisting with the annual department inventory.

I helped acclimate Freshman art students to the SEMO campus. I kept in constant communication with first year students, professors, and the department chair to organizing social activities and service projects for students. I assisting professors with lessons, establishing weekly study sessions with students, and made myself available to these students to answer any questions or help with any problems they encountered.
