Advertising and PR Manager for Caesarstone South Africa, under the distribution company International Slab Sales (Pty) ltd. The other surface brands that I manage are Rudi's Choice natural stone, Eezi Quartz and Infinity Surfaces. My role includes the conceptualisation, execution and management of all advertising and marketing campaigns for the brands in the ISS stable. Social media management and paid promotion. Print, radio and TV advertising. YouTube video production and publishing. Relationship management with key industry players in the architecture, food, decor and design world. I am the 2IC to the Marketing Director and therefor manage an internal team of consultants and designers and many external service providers. As a global brand I also deal with our international partners frequently.

Overseeing and coordinating all of ELLE Decoration SA's editorial and digital activities. Responsibilities included creating and enforcing deadlines, print and content schedules and co-ordinating the production process for the magazine. Securing budgets and quotes to comply with the annual editorial budget. Advertising sales liaison. Copy checking and signing off to print. Invoicing capturing and processing. Pagination, ad placement and editorial ratio proofing. Writing and editorial contribution.

For four years I lived in Tokyo, Japan and worked for the dynamic KSpace International Kindergarten and Educentre. Managing the marketing and communications until the devastating 2011 tsunami, when an opportunity arose to become the HOD for the lower school. The role included daily general management of the lower school and its teachers, curriculum development, parent liaison officer, video production, digital newsletter creations, quarterly print publications, and leading extra-curricular sessions with adults and children.

During a ski season on a J1 working Visa, I was hired to assist in the general management and client services of the spa and fitness centre at the private Arrowhead Alpine Lodge in Colorado.

Following my role as an intern in my 3rd year of studying Public Relations Management at CPUT, I was hired by Jenny Handley Performance (then Promotions) in capacity as a PR and Media Assistant. As an active local agency, we were involved in a variety of strategic brand campaigns, events management and personality management. Jenny Handley is an author of a successful series of personal and corporate development books, of which I was involved in the publishing, images sourcing, copy checking and printing process.
