For the company: I created and maintained a business and marketing plan. I create and manage all marketing collateral content for print, web, and social media outlets. I also make sales calls and personal visits to secure sales.For our clients: I write both creative and sales content. I create, film, and edit informational videos.

Supporting the efforts of local pantries that are part of the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank’s large, regional network in their continual great work in fighting food insecurity and hunger across Washington and Greene Counties.

Manage development, marketing, and communications functions of the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Morgantown & Ronald McDonald House Charities of Pittsburgh.

Ongoing Work: Develop major gift ($25,000+) and planned giving strategies as part of a multi-million dollar campaign. Work through full development process with both individuals and corporations for outright gifts and event sponsorship. Coordinate donor interests with multiple units both in healthcare and campus. Work closely with other unit prospect managers to ensure donor centered fundraising. Cultivate grateful patients and family relationships towards involvement in hospital programming.Completed Work: Coordinated and executed WVU Medicine Children's and Children's Miracle Network Hospitals first Rose Parade float entry. Involved intensive fundraising efforts, event planning, marketing and public relations. Rose Parade initiative raised upwards of $300,000 in a one year campaign and garnered exposure for the hospital to over 80 million people.Coordinated and executed WVU Medicine Children's annual gala. Involved working with volunteer committee to solicit sponsorship and auction items in support of the event, planning and organizing event details for the over 1,000 people in attendance.

I manage the daily operations of the 40+ student phonathon with a goal of raising $250,000, develop and lead semester trainings, coordinate multi-media / social media / traditional marketing efforts, plan / execute three annual spring events, coordinate senior class giving efforts with a goal of 50% class participation, and develop student giving education.

I worked for two families during the year period. They had 3 month old babies. My duties include changings, feedings, entertainment, and cleaning.

I planned and promoted a 5K run / walk that had 30% more participants than expected; Researched multiple $50,000+ grants to fund new equipment; Wrote content for a new hospital website that was more user friendly and inviting; and Designed and Wrote several internal and external PR pieces that helped continue the Foundation's growth.

My main goal was to increase community awareness of and donations to the organization. I created Literacy's first two cohesive PR campaigns that included posters, bookmarks, brochures, and videos. Literacy has gained more notoriety and a larger donor base in; I maintained the flow of office operations, assisted the director in student / tutor coordination, organized / executed annual fundraisers of $2,000+, and planned / implemented PR materials.

I worked with the KEYS Service Corps for the summer of 2009. I was a member of the Allegheny County Summer Food Program. My tasks were to take and enter meal orders, organize and schedule site monitor reviews, trouble shot meal and site problems, and answer questions county residence had about other Department of Human Services services.

A Bonner Scholar is a scholarship awarded to individuals in select school around the Mid-Atlantic region and is recognition for community service and academics. I was awarded this scholarship at the end of my sophomore year. For the scholarship I must complete 40 hours of community service a month. I work a Literacy as their office manager and also organize most of their public relations.
