I currently work as a safeguarding specialist at the BBC, working across the business including internationally. I’m particularly interested in the global safeguarding space and currently studying for an MSc in International Safeguarding. I have a broad range of experience working with children and safeguarding, including implementing policies and procedures, designing and delivering training, and investigating and managing concerns. In my spare time, I have been committed to empowering and helping those who have suffered abuse. During my time at university, I volunteered at two different charities; the first provided long-term support to female survivors of human trafficking and the second delivered services to tackle local inequalities in the community which included afterschool clubs where I taught early reading skills to refugee children.
