With this promotion, I'm adding support to Deep's internal staff culture officially to my role. I design on-boarding for new hires and ongoing learning opportunities around Deep pedagogy for current staff. I'm still site director of Deep Writing Project (affiliated with the National Writing Project) and serving as adult ally for our high school activists, too.

I'm the site director for Deep Writing Project (the first community-based site of the National Writing Project!) and a co-facilitator of Deep's youth participatory action research team of high school activists.

In partnership with my brilliant colleagues, I'm directing Deep's Healing Schools initiative (bringing restorative practices into SCCPSS) our Action Research Team leading the charge on youth-powered policy, and our National Writing Project site for in-depth teacher professional development.

Deep Center was awarded the nation's highest honor, National Arts and Humanities Youth Program award from First Lady Michelle Obama, making Deep one of the top youth arts nonprofits in the entire United States.• Responsible for planning, assessment, and execution of Deep’s programming in keeping with the mission and goals set forth by the Board of Directors and Executive Director.• Supervises Director of Block by Block and Programs Coordinator in support of Deep programming.• Recruits, trains, coordinates, and oversees all volunteers.• Evaluates program quality, effectiveness, and compliance with standards.• Develops curriculum.• Facilitates publication of semi-annual anthologies to showcase student work including editing and layout design.• Manages design, photography, publication, and community fellowship interns.• Liaises with faculty at partner schools.• Organizes events, such as book launch and literary reading, Deep Speaks, and volunteer events

Responsible for planning, assessment, and execution of Deep's Young Author Project.

Researched and wrote capacity-building grants for a local nonprofit that hosts creative writing workshops for under-served youth in Savannah's public middle schools.

Event flyers, wedding invitations, hand-lettering, stationery, poster, logo, publication layout, promotional, personal stationery, and front-end website design for various clients, including Savannah Power Yoga, Deep Center, Savannah Urban Garden Alliance, WellFED magazine, @home Vintage General, RZ Digital, and Ralph Mark Gilbert Civil Rights Museum.

Served as primary contact for customer relations. Invoiced and fulfilled orders for all retail accounts. Inventory manager for all product. Responsible for data entry and accounting, and played an integral role in daily operations for this bustling small business. Trained and supervised interns. Critiqued new design ideas based on knowledge of current industry trends and the studio's demographic. Attended trade shows to support sales and marketing manager and promote brand.

Trained to operate an antique table-top letterpress. Helped owner and colleague, Meg Sutton, with an array of tasks as she launched her new stationery business.

Developed surface graphics for Working Class Studio's home decor line as well as corporate partners, Showtime TV Network and Blik Wall Graphics. Design for Dexter was produced and sold by Showtime in 2009 and 2010.The Megan Collection, a hand-lettered a set of 8 greeting cards, launched in 2011 as part of Working Class Studio's stationery line.
