Reporting on the most significant stories in Wales on a daily basis, both on air and online.I love the daily challenge of working out what stories matter, and telling them in a relevant and creative way, whether that’s self-shooting, working with a cameraman or telling the stories live on air. I cover a wide range of stories but specialise on education. As well as reporting I also regularly present bulletins, and have experience presenting our Sunday news programme ‘Newsweek Wales’ as well as our 6pm flagship news programme.I'm also an active part of the team trying to encourage people from all backgrounds to think about a career in journalism. This has involved talking to hundreds of students, giving tours of the newsroom and also teaching students how to use a camera and conduct interviews. As a reporter and producer for ITV’s breakfast show ‘Daybreak’ I covered some of the biggest stories of the summer, including the Olympic and Paralympic games, the disappearance of Tia Sharp and the attempt at House of Lords reform. I also produced live segments for the reporters and correspondents, as well as preparing briefs for producers and presenters, during this three month secondment.

Researching episodes for international TV travel documentary ‘Tracing Tea’. My job also involved pre-production work in America, India, Germany & UK. I also project managed the launch of an education website linking students from around the world.
