I am a recently qualified teacher, who has started working as a supply teacher within local primary, first and middle schools. In June 2022, I completed the school direct route of my PGCE with QTS in Primary Education. During this time, I gained teaching experience in all primary year groups, including early years. My enthusiastic and understanding approach, calm behaviour management and initiative has been highlighted as my core teaching strengths.Prior to this, I gained an undergraduate degree in Sociology and Criminology BSc at Northumbria University. Sociology is my passion, and I am an advocate for ensuring the world we live in is inclusive to all, no matter what your background may be. I am an approachable, outgoing person who goes out of their way to help people. My biggest achievements are graduating university with a 2:1 despite 2 years of it being online due to COVID-19 restrictions, getting onto an extremely competitive teacher training course, and devising and conducting my own listening and working memory intervention, so successful that it was implemented in surrounding schools.
