O&P Student at CSDUH completing a practicum rotation in an out-patient setting with Prosthetic & Orthotic Group. Considerable experience with pediatrics with an emphasis on cranial remolding orthoses utilizing the Starscanner and scoliosis bracing using CAD/CAM technology. Improved patient interaction skills while assisting in documentation during evaluation, delivery, and follow-up appointments.

Washington D.C. Metro Area

Patient care volunteer to independently interact with patients in an informal setting. Saw a wide variety of pediatric patients ranging from infants to 18+ with a range of acute to chronic health conditions. Primarily worked with in-patient children and made them more comfortable in their stay and improved patient-interaction skills.

Worked with practitioners and completed fabrication work at the Nation's Naval Hospital. Able to see a wide variety of patients and devices ranging from more traditional body powered to innovative, new technology including microprocessor knees, myoelectric devices, target muscle reinnervation, and osseointegration. Interacted with a wide age group of patients, with a focus on younger, active duty personnel and veterans.Interned ~30 hours/week summer 2018 and returned summer 2019 for a short preceptor rotation before beginning my MSPO program at CSUDH.
