ICOSEP is a coalition of patient advocate organizations from more than 35 countries who support endocrine patients - uniting as the International Coalition of Organizations Supporting Endocrine Patients. Shortened our name is known as ICOSEP. What is our purpose? We are building a free information exchange and networking alliance, while focusing on an annual Children’s Growth Awareness Day campaign. Why– For decades, many endocrine medical problems have been viewed as “cosmetic” or less important than other medical situations. As patient advocate groups involved with endocrine related medical challenges, we know this misconception is horribly incorrect and only leads to a lack in care for people affected by endocrine diagnosis.We thank our endocrinologists and international endocrine organizations for their support of our families!!

Division Consultant for the The MAGIC Foundation for the Small for Gestational Age division. The MAGIC Foundation is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization that serves families of children across the globe (and now adults) affected by growth disorders. MAGIC hosts the largest medical convention of its kind each July in Chicago - families receive 4 days of medical lectures & education from the top experts in each field of growth disorders while the kids get to hang out with other kids just like them. MAGIC has been awarded The Independent Charities Seal of Excellence and is a Top Rated NonProfit for 2013 by Great Non Profits.As a Division Consultant, I help design and plan the yearly medical seminar (typically bringing in 2-4 internationally reknowned doctors or medical professionals to present segments at the convention), work wth new families who request a call from the DC, manage the MAGIC Small for Gestational Age support group Facebook page, run a global support group in Spanish, help parents network (sometimes matching up parents on opposite sides of the globe), provide educational information, keep the MAGIC Foundation website section on SGA up to date, revise the informational brochures as needed, assist members apply for Foundation Scholarships for first time families to attend the medical convention, fundraising and a number of other projects. I also work with the RSS & SGA Research & Education Fund Consultant and Russell Silver Syndrome Division Consultant on various projects.
