Worked with community organizations to schedule community projects for campers to interact with individuals and organizations such as Wilkes County Samaritan's Kitchen, Watauga Parks and Recreation, and Ashe Senior Center.Kept track of the Camp Budget and resources to pay for projects and camper supplies (i.e. food, in-camp activities)

Spent six weeks maintaining communication with county partners in four Western N.C. counties to locate families to work with during the summer. Raised over $1,800 in donations for staff salary and in-camp funding. Led and facilitated camp staff in leading campers (8th -12th graders) and adults on worksites and in-camp. Created and maintained new filing and paperwork system for organization’s new staff model implemented summer 2014.

Boone, Nc

Semester long partnership with Tumul K'in to raise money for the Belize school. Worked with 13 other team members to find fundraising ideas and then created and held an event titled "Dance Around the World" collecting over $1000. Also used personal connections to raise individual goal of $100.

Camp Loy White, Casar, North Carolina

Worked on a staff with six other people to lead a Christian mission camp to work on houses in three counties in North Carolina for the summer. As Lead Program I led two other staff members in contacting and getting family information from County Contacts (i.e. Social Services, churches, and other nonprofit organizations) as well as contacting community members for donations to support different building projects for families. As part of my commitment for the summer, I also raised half of my salary.

Camp Carolwood, Lenoir, Nc

Worked with a staff of seven other people to create and lead a Christian mission camp experience for youth and adults. As a program coordinator, I worked with Watauga County contacts in North Carolina to receive names of families to work with throughout the summer. As well as raising funds to purchase building materials for projects. As part of my commitment for the summer, I also raised half of my salary for the summer.
