Reformatted and edited over 4,000 recipes for Whole Foods Market website using their internal recipe editing system. This included modernizing recipes with relevant and interesting ingredients, editing language for ease of recipe use, and modifying cook and prep times. I was also tasked with integrating language that met standards for Alexa, allowing users to have an interactive experience while they cook.

Prepared and baked a wide array of breakfast pastries, biscuits and other baked goods daily. Responsible for maintaining the bakery facility from a 4am start through opening. Managed front desk during store opening which included taking customer orders while filling pastry case. Submitted weekly food inventory orders from third-party companies and local farms.

Collaborated with the National Field Marketing Manager to set-up demonstrations and promotional events in the Portland, OR region. Fostered relationships between brand and potential customers to increase sales and product awareness. Managed direct in-store sales with customers.

Represented studio through email, phone and social media interactions. Generated social media content for two mediums, in addition to print media for promotional purposes. Managed customer transactions and client accounts.

Work with a team of five account executives in a student-run PR firm with our client, Volunteers In Medicine (VIM), to overall increase social media presence and assist with brand awareness. Generated and executed social media calendars over a four month period for Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn to increase brand messaging and awareness. Increased VIM's organic Facebook reach by 550% and likes by 25% over a four month period. Created consistent brand messaging across digital and print platforms and materials. Filmed and produced video for doctor outreach.

Coordinated all outside communication and outreach for LGBTESS, an administrative department within the Dean of Students Office. Created communication materials and social media content for website and communication outlets.

I worked with faculty from the University of Oregon's School of Journalism and Communication for club promotion, outreach, and plan NLGJA's annual event in the spring. The annual event, "Life Beyond the Emerald Tower," is a panel of local journalist professionals that discuss diversity issues in the professional world. I am in charge of planning the entire event and my duties include panelist outreach, internal communications, and event promotion.

Wrote news releases and articles to increase community awareness of organization. Practiced event planning through community events that targeted teachers and students. Created signage and other print materials to represent organization appropriately and efficiently.
