Working within the firms Bid Team my role includes:- Helping to identify tender opportunities- Communicating key elements and considerations coming out of tender opportunities- Coordinating and overseeing the tender process, ensuring input is obtained from all necessary parties in good time of the deadline- Drafting, editing and challenging tender.

Providing strategic Business Development assistance to a cross section of the firm’s sector groups including its Public Sector Services Group (PSSG), Renewables Group and Transport Group. I also provided BD assistance to the firms Project, Energy and Infrastructure Group which includes the Oil and Gas team.Played a key role in the production of public.

Responsiblities of this position included:Providing day-to-day Business Development (BD) support to the firms Property department (7sectors and around 70 lawyers) and its BD manager. The role involved creating bespoke pitch material (credential documents, PowerPoint’s, departmental marketing communications etc), drafting research briefs on target and key.

In this position I was involved in many of the firm’s BD initiatives from a grass-root level, aided in the production of much of the firms marketing communications, coordinated departmental client events, facilitated the firms CRS activities, monitored the firms BD and marketing budget and expenses, and played an instrumental role in the updating.
