I am a qualified actuary and senior consultant with over 10 years experience, working at Hymans Robertson. Our award winning team support insurance and financial services firms. My focus is predominantly longevity risk. I help our clients in setting longevity best estimate assumptions and managing their longevity risk capital models. I recently won InsuranceERM's 2024 young risk professional of the year award. This award was open to risk professionals, under the age of 40, who have shown outstanding leadership and achievements in the field of risk management over the past 18 months, and who are adding significant value to their business.I am also the Hymans insurance representative for Abelica Global, which is an international network of independent consultancies. I have presented at conferences in Paris, Munich and Delhi. My actuarial career started at Just group (formerly Partnership Assurance) where I worked as an Actuarial Analyst in the Longevity & Demographic Risk team for over 4 years. Whilst at Just, I became the experience analysis data SME and had a key role in the project which streamlined our experience analysis reporting process. Through an industrial placement year, I started my career working in asset management, spending 2 years working at UBS, within operations and hedge fund business development. I subsequently spent a year working within business development at the hedge fund Pensato Capital, where a large part of my role focused on the automation of their fund performance reporting processes.
