Responsible for the growth and strategic direction of REI’s FDA division, running a $50M a year portfolio of custom software development for the FDA. • Manage a division of 200+ resources located across the United States, overseeing all project execution for six separate T&M and FFP contracts. Participate in coporate strategy, growth, capture, business development, resource training, and account management activities.• Drove an increase in profit margins for the FDA Account from an expected 5% to exceeding the 10% margin goal through significant effort in greening the team, hiring smart, and negotiating Labor Categories with the government.• Specialize in providing business strategy, thought leadership, technology expertise, innovative solutions and enterprise solutions needed by the healthcare community. Committed to helping HHS customers to foster team work, collaboration, and practices that assist organizations achieve more with less in a flexible, agile environment• Showcase breadth of expertise by actively supporting both operational delivery excellence of current work and business development / capture / proposal activities for future growth• Spearheaded the capture activities and subsequent win of the $400M Single Award Imports & SIRCE BPA supporting the FDA Office of Regulatory Affairs (ORA). Additionally, ran all capture and proposal activities leading to the win of a Low-Code (Appian) BPA supporting the FDA Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER). • Successfully ran the Transition-In activities for the FDA Imports & SIRCE Program – hired and onboarded 200 resources, established a program operating structure, and transitioned all activities from the outgoing contractor in four months, two months earlier than requested by the FDA. Received numerous commendations on the seamless and efficient transition of a mission critical program.
