Passionate and dynamic Grade 5 educator with nine years of experience at Alberview Primary School in Johannesburg. Specialized in teaching Social Sciences and Life Skills to 10-11-year-olds, I am deeply committed to fostering a holistic learning environment. Beyond the classroom, I organize and participate in extra mural activities, serve as the Soccer and Athletics organizer, and manage/coach Rugby for Boys (u11 and u12) and Touch Rugby for Girls.My career journey includes successfully teaching Grade 0 (5-6-year-olds) and Grade 1 (6-7-year-olds), where I delivered a comprehensive education following the CAPS curriculum. SACE registered and holding a PGCE in ECD (Post Graduate Certificate in Education – Foundation Phase), I've also served as the SBST Grade Leader for Grade 5 since 2019, ensuring a well-rounded educational experience for students.Prior to Alberview Primary School, I enriched young minds at Acorn Preprimary School, where I taught 2-3-year-olds, 3-4-year-olds, and Grade 0 (5-6-year olds), focusing on early childhood development. Additionally, my role at Executots Nursery School as a Supervisor involved overseeing the afternoon program for children aged 2 months to 6 years, including providing first aid and creating stimulating educational activities.I hold a B.A in Health Science and Social Services and a PGCE in Foundation Phase, Psychology, and Education from the University of South Africa. My qualifications allow me to teach and serve as a social worker.
