I developed and taught a trauma-informed parenting course, which included educating parents on Child Development, and Conscious Discipline principles.I taught classes in-person, virtually, and at satellite campuses across three counties. I created instructional videos in English and Spanish. I created brochures, infographics, and course materials. I used survey data from parent participants as a tool to inform and improve the curriculum. I developed lessons and taught on diversity and cultural awareness, which includes critical discussions on race, disability/mental illness, LGBTQIA+, socioeconomic status, legal status, and the detriments of stereotyping.

I led a team of 8 people across an agency-wide curriculum overhaul, coached my team on the operational and technical aspects of implementation. Supervised them on an on-going basis and provided feedback. I conducted language, socio-emotional and academic screenings, and assessments on children. I created Spanish and Portuguese versions of assessments, where none previously had existed, this resulted in a 21% increase in their kindergarten readiness scores.
