Before starting my coaching business, I worked at Nike as an employee experience researcher. In that role I conducted research with Nike's employees all around the world then made recommendations on how to create a better experience for them at work. These recommendations were used to create and modify company policies, processes, programs and tools. I took all of these learnings—both the needs of the employees and the leaders and business—and used those to create my coaching practice. In my practice, I help leaders show up with more energy and awareness in their roles and bring that out in their team. Specifically, I work with leaders around the director to VP level who are on the cusp. These leaders are both building strategy and vision while also directly managing a team and in the work itself.Through coaching leaders learn to: - Feel confident in themselves, whether it's sharing their voice or believing in their abilities - Build trust and influence with others, including their team, peers and leaders- Inspire themselves and others to action with purpose- Change how they manage their time so they can spend time creating and moving forward strategy instead of being in the weeds—all while up-leveling their team- Learn how to communicate and listen effectively in a way that's authentic to them- Support their team's growth and development in a way that empowers themIn the beginning we create a vision of what the leader wants to experience in their role and with their team. Then we identify the obstacles (both internal and external) that are getting in the way of that now. We work through those obstacles each week both through the awareness raised in coaching and action following it. If you're interested in what's possible or have any questions about this process, feel free to book a complimentary discovery session on my site: https://meganbcoaching.as.me/discovery. In that session I'll go over my approach and how coaching works and we'll do a bit of coaching in the session so you can experience it firsthand. You can also email me at megan@meganbcoaching.com.
