Facilitates the operations of an adult learning institute including scheduling courses, disseminating course catalog, implementing registration software, liaising with faculty, planning information sessions and orientations and coordinating with University support staff as needed. Moved a fully in person program with more than 75 courses online in under two weeks in March 2020. Now manages a hybrid program with courses, lectures and seminars meeting in person, on Zoom, outside and hybrid. Supervises three program coordinators, several student workers, consultants and volunteer leaders to plan and implement projects such as a new partnership with Waltham Connections for Healthy Aging to ensure access to education for local older adults.Increases enrollments and student retention by managing projects such as an operations systems improvement strategy which entailed planning and implementation of new registration software, an improved student database (Slate) and our first curriculum management system (Monday.com). Increased student enrollments by 20% by moving from 2 registration periods per year to 4. Builds and edits student application in Slate, oversees the upkeep of student database, and troubleshoots escalated customer issues. Analyzes registration trends and makes recommendations for changes to program offerings based on student data.Creates and examines organization’s budget, overseeing all financial transactions including intake of tuition, reimbursements, invoice fulfillment, vendor payments, student worker and instructor payments and donations. Manages volunteers including office helpers, working committees and Board members to ensure their continued commitment to the organization. Recruits additional volunteers as needed, provides training and onboarding support and supervises volunteers throughout their tenure.
