Cincinnati Area, Oh

Oversaw a NIH grant funded study with a focus on improving self-management in young adults with sickle cell disease (ages 16-24) during their transition from pediatric to adult healthcare. I co-coordinated the 13th and 14th Annual Sickle Cell Disease Research and Education Day for patients with sickle cell disease and their families; a large-scale event with over 500 people in attendance. In this role I also recruited and supervised student interns within our lab.
