I’m an Assistant Bookkeeper and a student at the University of Victoria, pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce with a passion for finance, business operations, and helping others understand financial literacy. With over three years of experience in bookkeeping, I've honed my skills in financial reporting, data entry, and reconciliations using software like Sage 50 and QuickBooks. In my previous roles, I’ve successfully managed both business and personal finances, streamlined systems for better efficiency, and led teams in fast-paced environments. As a shift supervisor at Starbucks for four years, I developed strong leadership skills, managing teams across multiple locations, while also focusing on customer service and training new staff.Beyond my professional life, I’m passionate about travel, culture, and the arts, having trained as a professional ballet dancer for 17 years. I’m also deeply committed to volunteering, particularly in helping individuals with disabilities manage their finances and in educating others through hands-on experience.I’m always eager to learn and grow, whether it’s expanding my knowledge in finance or connecting with people from diverse backgrounds. My long-term goal is to continue developing my expertise in bookkeeping and finance, and eventually step into a leadership role where I can help businesses grow while making a positive impact on my community.
