Developed and delivered a full testbench with 100% coverage on a custom clocking IP block. Worked with the designer and specifications to create a comprehensive testplan and built a full UVM testbench around the IP block. Wrote and fine-tuned a full suite of tests to achieve 100% coverage of the design with continual bug finding through development.Served as the Lead of the AHSI University Engagement initiative, managing a team of 12 to plan and execute engagements with 4 different universities.

Developed and delivered test plans for updates to both a crypto block in roadmap IP and the system AXI fabric. Wrote tests in C leveraging APIs for other crypto blocks to test access control and to exercise the blocks and cover edge cases.Developed a fully synthesized RTL model for a monitoring circuit and delivered a test plan for the controlling block interfacing with the circuit and the rest of the system.Continued my role as Lead of University Engagement for AHSI D&I team and served as D&I representative for SES organization in Redmond.

Delivered a FPGA emulation environment by developing an End of Test monitoring and result tracking RTL module and porting previous tests to the new environment.Developed a JTAG test framework for validation in the lab that included scripting for test vector generation, validating test equipment and vectors, and creating a UI in python with Jupyter Notebooks for simplified test execution that leveraged open source APIs to control test equipment. Owned and delivered L1 test bench with 100% coverage for iterative ring bus design from start to finish including validation preparation and support in lab bringup. Completed and provided ongoing support for the larger ring bus L1 testbench.Nominated to be the organization’s representative for the AHSI D&I team. Elected to lead the University Engagement initiative and established relationships with 4 universities supporting underrepresented minority students to foster a pipeline of diverse talent into Microsoft.

Conducted research on the effect of renewable energy sources on the frequency response of power systems. Developed a model to examine these effects with the potential to be adapted into specialized control procedures to minimize negative effects on the system.

Facilitated community development through programming and building relationships with and among 50 residents. Enforced community standards through weekly duty shifts. Served as the point of contact between students and professional staff. Collaborated with a team of 17 Residential Advisers as well as the rest of the student and professional staff to host events.

Conducted an Arc Flash Study to analyze the DC Arc Flash hazard present in Substations and help develop safety standards for crews and engineers. Assisted Substation Engineers on projects. Processed updated electrical drawings.

Research in optimization of a power grid incorporating a photovoltaic generator and battery using linear programming and optimization techniques. Working with CVXPY to develop and solve Economic Dispatch Problems.
