I built out and lead the recruitment function as the first member of the People Ops team. I was responsible for full-cycle recruitment for every department across the company including sales, design, engineering, people operations, and customer success. I collaborated closely with hiring managers across these different practices. I also configured and owned any responsibilities related to our ATS, Greenhouse. Avenue builds and maintains the websites and digital marketing for REALTORS®, so they can stay connected with their clients—and attract new ones. Our in-house professionals bring together a diverse range of skill sets, giving REALTORS® the chance to market themselves online while being supported by the knowledge and tools only a team of experts can provide.

As a 3-person Recruitment team, we hired over 200 new employees and navigated through the challenges associated with a hyper-growth start-up. I was responsible for full-cycle recruitment for various departments including product, marketing, operations, administration, finance, sales, design, brand, facilities, IT, and public relations. Bench is the largest bookkeeping service in America for small businesses. We organize the financials of small businesses, independent contractors, and entrepreneurs. Pairing our intuitive software with a live bookkeeping team, we combine the convenience and efficiency of modern technology with the expertise and time-savings afforded by a professional service to let business owners get back to doing what they love: running their business.
