Originally from Kansas City, I moved to St. Louis and began my professional career at Lockton Companies in December 2009 as an Account Administrator in the Employee Benefits department. Throughout my career at Lockton, I was promoted to various account management roles and had the opportunity to work within the Chicago and Nashville offices. Utilizing my unique benefits and compliance background, I decided to make a career transition in October 2018, starting as a Human Resources Generalist at Loews Vanderbilt Hotel in Nashville, TN. In September 2019, I accepted a newly developed role with Lockton (and relocated back to St. Louis) as a Human Resource Business Partner, embedded within and consulting for a large multi-entity client. I recently rejoined the hospitality industry and am currently the Human Resources Director at Hilton St. Louis at the Ballpark downtown. I am working to obtain my Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) designation. Outside of HR, I completed my Power Yoga 200 Hour Teacher Training in December 2018 and enjoy teaching at various studios in the St. Louis community.
