I supported the data analysis needs of the Optum Life Science team Cross Optum. Our team worked on initiatives to help improve the healthcare provided to our members. I provided analysis around current population health for the clinical areas of interest, develop the data strategy for the pilot process and post pilot analysis. Focused on reimbursement from all payers, cost of providing care and regulatory impacts on proposed pilot.My audience for reporting included internal UHG groups as well as high level leadership from our external Life Science Industry partners.The work I was involved in created $2m in consulting revenue for our team.I collaborated with multiple data teams internally and work with any external clients to determine data strategy and communicate pilot results.

As part of the national Healthcare Economics team supporting the Optum Care division my focus was on supporting the Care Delivery Organizations (CDO) in identifying areas of clinical and cost improvements.
