Founding Executive Director of public-private partnership focused on reducing the environmental impacts of building construction and operations, and maximizing the City of Stamford’s economic viability and profitability. The Stamford 2030 District is part of a national grassroots effort to create high-performance building districts using the nationally-recognized Architecture 2030 Challenge. My role as Executive Director involved managing all aspects of the Stamford 2030 District, including fundraising and developing relationships with new property, community, and professional partners. I developed tools, educational opportunities, and communication strategies for partners, and served as a spokesperson at public events, community meetings, and national stakeholder groups. I was also responsible for tracking progress towards the 2030 District’s aggressive efficiency and resiliency goals by benchmarking building performance annually.Select achievements include: Built organization from zero to 44 members (including: Starwood Hotels, Jonathan Rose Companies, JLL, CBRE, SL Green, Deloitte and RFR); benchmarked 57 buildings; won national, competitive grant award (Partners for Places).
