I would help with bathroom duties if needed, getting breakfast and lunch trays. Help with lunch duties making sure that the students were sitting and eating their lunches and not running around the cafeteria. Recess duty making sure that fights weren't breaking out and that if a student received an injury from playing too rough received the right treatment from a simple band-aid to taking the student to the nurse. Helped prepare lessons by making copies, cutting out materials, or coming up with lesson ideas.

I started out as the only girl on an all boys team running lights, video/audio. I was on the team several years before I became to the go to person. I would train the new volunteers and then once they had been on the team long enough they would train someone. After I joined the team several girls joined the team knowing that they could be welcomed. I mainly ran Pro-presenter and learned the ins and outs of that program before learning Vista, a light program. While volunteering for the team I had to be very detail oriented about keeping the worship team on time and the service running smoothly.
