Oversaw the meal service for the senior residents of Robert Nimi Nikkei Home (Assisted Living Facility). Managed all the business functions for food service including staffing, financials, operations and compliance. Also managed and ran Hi Genki Japanese Restaurant (public side). The Ryerson Make Shape Change Conference was the first conference out of the the Faculty of Communication and Design - aiming to bring together creative minds and acts as a primer for entering the communication and design industries. My responsibilities included:• Contacting, securing and directing our keynote speakers, workshop presenters and case competition judges for the case competition.
