Developed catalyst formulations for electrode coatings and established a bench-scale separation methodology for targeted product separations. Facilitated a business collaboration to innovate analytical methodologies and improved existing analytical testing methods for enhanced precision and reliability.

Scale up, assembly, operation and take down of electrochemical stacks. Development and optimization of analytical methods to quantify small molecule organic products produced through electrochemical CO reduction. Worked with the our process engineering team to design small scale separation experiments to support and validate Aspen process models. Modification of electrodes and performance testing of electrochemical stacks, optimization of stack design components, and data processing (GC, NMR, HPLC) to determine faraday efficiency of target products of different electrochemical stack designs.

Expanded the scope of a improved process method toward an active insecticide for the patent process. Safely synthesized a series of high energy substrates and evaluated the new methodology using DSC, HPLC, GCMS, TOFMS, and NMR.
