I completed my Master's degree in Clinical Social Work at the University of St. Thomas and St. Catherine University. I specialize in working with adolescents, young adults, and the LGBTQIA+ population, though I work with individuals across the lifespan from ages 12+. I have worked in crisis counseling and am trained in crisis intervention and suicide intervention through Canvas Health and ASIST, as well as completing certification to be a Certified Crisis Worker through the American Association of Suicidology in 2015. Clinical interventions I am most drawn to using in practice are CBT, DBT, Psychodynamic psychotherapy, and solutions-focused brief therapy. Most importantly, I believe that the therapeutic relationship between the provider and the individual is of utmost importance in achieving positive outcomes for individuals who seek therapeutic supports, and I strive to build strong therapeutic alliances with all clients and to modify and tailor my approach to treatment to best fit each individual's needs.
