Managed student and young alumni programs at Wheaton College.

Planned and executed student programs from the alumni office including: a student leadership event serving over 300 student leaders, an alumni legacy photo and reception, a one-day job shadow experience, and a graduation fair for 600 students.Combining my passion for people and technology, I also managed and administered Wheaton in Network (WiN), an online networking tool for students and alumni. This included training students on how to leverage the platform, analyzing and developing strategies to increase usage metrics, and sourcing alumni for various departments via the platform.A few key highlights include:- Advising and overseeing the Wheaton College Student Alumni Board, comprised of twelve student leaders.- Managing caterers and external vendors for alumni and student events.- Training over 750 students on how to leverage WiN for job opportunities and career advice while delivering program communications to participants.- Creating workshop surveys and measuring success through analyzing program metrics.- Collaborating with the Center for Vocation and Career to recruit 70 local alumni and 150 students who participate in Externship Day, a one-day job shadowing experience across Chicagoland.- Generating an increase of over 140% page likes in less than one year on the Wheaton College Alumni Association Facebook page.- Partnering with Wheaton Magazine to source alumni for the launch of the #MyWheaton Alumni blog.- Spearheading the production of specifically tailored html emails for alumni and student participants in the Externship Day Program.

As the head of marketing and recruitment for Semester in Spain (SIS), I represented SIS to various colleges and universities across the US acting as a trusted advisor to both students, faculty, and administration.A few key highlights include:- Securing four new partner institutions through establishing contact with the administration, guiding them through the process of developing a contract, navigating financial aid processes, and identifying complementary coursework for their programs.- Completing thirty recruitment trips per academic year establishing rapport with students, faculty, and staff.- Maintaining a deep understanding of Spanish academic programs and study abroad trends so as to improve the Semester in Spain program.- Implementing a new CRM specifically for tracking institutional communications.- Initiating and completing a CMS website transition from Drupal to Wordpress for increased staff efficiency and ease of use.- Developing and launching a student ambassador program to recruit more frequently across partnership institutions during the academic year.

As Office Administrator in a small organization, I put on many different hats and quickly learned about how small organizations operate. I supported the Q Place team in a variety of different areas including event planning, operations, communications, marketing, website management, recruiting, and quality control.A few key highlights include:- Managing the conference planning with Q Center through securing a contract, coordinating registration, and facilitating external vendor relationships.- Leading the hiring search for an additional team member and contract web developer through creating job descriptions, posting openings, reviewing job applicants, phone screening, interviewing, and on-boarding.- Training staff on how to amplify their use of our CRM (Batchbook) in order to document communications and pull reports for constituent analysis.- Operating a conference bookstore of over sixty products while implementing a new payment process.- Collaborating to publish and launch the Arts of Spiritual Conversations curriculum in an ecommerce web store.

As a Wilderness and Camp Track Passage Leader, I guided students through intentional times of preparing for college. I led my first group of students on a two-week camping trip in the Northwoods of Wisconsin and the additional groups through a series of planned bonding activities at camp. Additionally, I partnered with a faculty member to facilitate discussion regarding the challenges faces by students as they enter their first year of school. Returning for all three years, I thrived on establishing relationships with incoming freshmen and serving as a trusted advisor during their time at Wheaton College.

I was honored when my former professor asked me to serve as his Teaching Assistant. Working closely with Dr. Gary Burge, I maintained student grade reports, reported recurring trends or oddities in student performance, graded weekly essays, and proofread Jesus and the Jewish Festivals--his book that was published in 2012.
