Certified Nurse Assistant Program (CNAP) is a five year, multi pronged project focused on increasing the CNA workforce in California. CNAP is intended to be employer-driven and provides nursing home employers with the resources to build and sustain a renewable employee pipeline and foster CNA retention by providing advancement along a CNA career pathway.

On the California Initiative to Advance Precision Medicine team at OPR, I further developed my knowledge of the complexities of policy and government and strengthened my passion for furthering health equity to avoid structural injustices and barriers that hold people back from attaining optimal health.
