My position with the Petoskey Area Visitor's Bureau is a part-time, as needed position where I travel to various trade shows throughout the state, representing and promoting the entire Petoskey area including Petoskey, Bay Harbor, Boyne City and Harbor Springs, its hotels, restaurants and activities, with the objective of increasing awareness to bring tourism to the area. Trade show representation includes meeting and groups, golf and women's industries.

Responsible for increasing brand awareness through strategic marketing and advertising, sales and coordination of on-site events and off-property catering and assisting the Vice-President with daily operations.- Manage social media sites including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for all 3 locations.- E-newsletter communication creation, design and distribution.- Website creation, design and upkeep.- Mobile website creation, design and upkeep.- Manage guest reviews on platform sites including Yelp, TripAdvisor and UrbanSpoon.- OpenTable reservations site and system management.- Work directly and negotiate with media salespersons and graphic designers to attain advertising objectives.- Print and web advertising design.- Event sales, coordination and management of all catered private events hosted both on and offsite.- Liaison between company and area organizations including the Petoskey Regional Chamber of Commerce, Petoskey Area Convention and Visitor's Bureau, City of Petoskey and Downtown Petoskey DDA.- Bookkeeping responsibilities include entering daily checks, bill pay, managing employee hours and sales reporting.- Set up employee and product information within POS system for sales and payroll.- Work with bookkeepers to generate monthly reports, payroll and other accounting duties.- IT troubleshooting with the occasional minor technical difficulty.- Human Resource responsibilities.- Merchandising - product placement, displays, purchasing.

My position with the Bay Harbor Foundation is a part-time, as needed position where I assist in the coordination and execution of large fundraising events including the annual Bay Harbor Vintage Car & Boat Festival and Baynanza. Bay Harbor Foundation is a charitable, nonprofit community organization dedicated to helping our neighbors through donations, grants, programs and professional mentoring to improve the quality of life in the Little Traverse Bay Region.

Bay Harbor Village Hotel is a 90-unit, luxury, boutique hotel located on Little Traverse Bay offering unique and exquisite guest accommodations, weddings, conferences, marina and golf.
