Between graduating and finding a full-time job, I was hired as a Marketing Intern. In this role, I wrote, on average, about 2-3 blogs per week, I curated and provided content for the first Sivia Law newsletter, I created social media graphics using Canva for Instagram and Pinterest. I helped create marketing plans for two of the attorneys on staff. I got some experience in video editing using iMovie for the series, "Trademark Tip Tuesday". I was also responsible for researching law topics, pricing, and new blog ideas.

In May 2019, I was selected for President of the Illinois State University Chapter for PRSSA. In this role, I supervised 6 other individuals and assisting them with anything they needed. I filled out funding paperwork for a group of 10 students to attend International Conference in San Diego, California. There, we learned about how to manage our chapter better, what to look for in the industry, and networked with other students. I was able to accept Illinois State University's updated certification (CEPR) for the PR program in the School of Communication. It was a great honor to do so. In my role, I offered myself as a mentor to other students that were looking to learn about PR, meeting new people in the major, and point them to resources that the School of Communication offered.

Apart of running digital media, I also am in charge of Relations committee. This consisted of upcoming shifts happening, renovation updates to the Bone Student Center, and employee events coming up. During shifts, I was responsible for completing the assignment sheets of where everyone would be placed, given keys to section supervisors, and handle any patron complaints or issues.

For two summers, I was a camp counselor for summer camp at the YMCA. I was assigned to the Kindergarten group. In this position, I managed and looked after a group of 30 kindergarteners for 7 hours, I gave First Aid to children who got hurt while at camp, and disciplined any children that were misbehaving (given a timeout, talk to another counselor that supervised me, etc.)
