With over 15 years of professional sign language interpreting experience, I have honed my expertise in interpersonal communication, decision-making, active listening, customer service, and adaptive problem-solving through exposure to diverse settings and people. These skills have proven invaluable, and I am grateful for the extensive personal and professional growth my work as an interpreter has afforded me.In tandem with my interpreting work, I have several years of experience in training and development, designing and delivering engaging training curricula and assessments, providing tailored coaching, developing performance improvement plans, and conducting diagnostic evaluations for interpreters. Recently I’ve expanded my expertise to include the business aspect of language services, supporting special projects and working directly with directors, founders, and CEOs to enhance efficiency and drive cross-departmental initiatives. I thrive in roles where organization, data tracking, and orchestrating cross-departmental initiatives are paramount. Outside of work, you’ll find me either at the animal shelter hugging dirty dogs and cats, reading with a coffee in hand, dancing, or on a sailboat somewhere.
