I was born in the Channel Islands in the UK, and grew up in Victoria B.C. As a kid my report card always said “She’s a social butterfly”. Over my years of work and schooling, I’ve learned to enhance my communication skills. I've worked for Thrifty Foods since 2017. This has allowed me to polish my active listening and problem solving skills. There is a vast amount of diversity in coworkers, management and customers. I have learned to appreciate individual strengths, and see potential in anyone I encounter.It’s important for me to:work with others,continue to learn and be creative, andmotivate others while giving them a voice.My devotion for great communication, and working with others, has lead me to Camosun College. I am doing my BBA in Human Resources, and I am thriving. The world of business intrigues me, and Human Resources is where I believe I can make the best contribution.
