I am a creative, dedicated, enthusiastic young professional pursuing a career that incorporates my educational and professional background in business and marketing while satisfying my intrigue in brand management and corporate responsibility. I appreciate the importance of teamwork and communication. As a marketing student, I have extensively studied brand management and strategic marketing. Professionally, I have worked closely with the Summerville & Greater Dorchester County Chamber of Commerce in the Rebranding of the town. Throughout this process, I experienced and assisted with various Public Relations endeavors, social media marketing, and finally the Product Launch. Through this opportunity and several others, I have gained valuable experience designing websites and various social media campaigns. After graduating from the College of Charleston, I accepted a position as a marketing manager at ReMax. Shortly thereafter, I assumed the role of Team Manger and Assistant to the Broker in Charge. I was responsible for a wide array of tasks including: recruitment, accounts payable/receivable, and marketing. At the end of 2016, I was approached with the opportunity to manage a new jewelry store in town, Hanebrink Jewelers. Here, I developed a successful brand from scratch. By year 3 we were voted the runner up in the Best Jewelry Store category by the Post and Courier’s Readers Choice Awards and by year 4 we were voted best Jewelry Store by the Summerville Journal Scene. Among my management responsibilities, I also oversaw all marketing initiatives including e-commerce, website development, magazine placements, special event organization, and all social media. Throughout my tenure, I planned, organized, and implemented several large scale events including the now Annual Summerville St Patrick’s Day Party in the Square and Small Business Saturday in Summerville. I am also familiar with Mac and Windows operating systems as well as Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Imovie, Photoshop, Outlook, GarageBand, Iphoto, Google Analytics, and Google Drive.
