I'm a graduate of LAMDA and the NFTS Scotland. I starred in short film Kingdom Come directed by Sean Robert Dunn, which premiered at the 2019 Venice Film Festival and was nominated for a London Critics' Circle film award. Having spent five years gigging on the UK comedy circuit, I brought several stand-up shows to major UK festivals, and was a 2017 Scottish Variety Award Nominee and a 2018 Funny Women Grand Finalist. I graduated from the NFTS Scotland with a Certificate in Screenwriting in 2021, was selected as a participant for Short Circuit's 2022 Convergence programme, and was one of the BBC's Scottish Voices 2022. I wrote Paddington Marmalade Messiness - an immersive theatre show that ran at Dalkeith Palace in the summer of 2023. I performed in the role of Lizzie Stark in Peaky Blinders: The Rise - a joint venture between Steven Knight, Caryn Mandabach Productions and Immersive Everywhere at the Vanguard Theatre in London and later in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. I have a strong and versatile alto/soprano singing voice. Last year, I was selected for ALUNA LABS - a programme of workshops and pitch sessions organised by Oscar Nominee Vanessa Kirby’s production company Aluna Entertainment and The Mono Box, with the aim of helping female-identifying creatives move into film. I was also selected for the LiM Scotland Residency in association with Screen Scotland and Le Groupe Ouest and am part of the next cohort of the Rianne Pictures: Evolve programme beginning in February, where I will develop my next short film script with the help of a mentor. This year, I was also shortlisted for the inaugural Sean Connery Talent Lab with NFTS Scotland. I am developing several film and TV projects and my debut comedy short film SUCK IT UP is currently doing the global film festival circuit. The film’s world premiere took place at Uptilt Film Fest in Wilmington, NC in March and the European Premiere will be in Germany at Internationales Filmfest Emden-Norderney this June.Always open to having creative conversations - please get in touch! :-)
