I am someone who will never stop learning, seeks to develop the potential in people around me, and believes full commitment is the only option. I began my studies at a large university where my general education classes had five hundred to one thousand students. I quickly realized that learning by PowerPoint was not enough. I wanted to take an active role in my education and have a hands-on learning experience. I have never been someone to take the easy way out or no for an answer. I will continue to take ideas and companies in the development stage to market, never shying away from challenges. There are thousands of ideas conceptualized each year that are not properly executed and never make it past the design stage. Successful ventures are not only about a good idea, but the team that supports it. As John C. Maxwell said we are only as strong as our inner-circle. I want to be the strategic planner for those who struggle to monetize and effectively bring their ideas to market. As I began to explore my educational opportunities, the business manager of my mother’s medical spa resigned abruptly. The business was left at a standstill without direction or a replacement in the organization. I stepped in and took over the responsibility of product management and marketing. I am pleased to say that my work not only stabilized the business, but also increased net sales by 30% in one calendar year. My work has helped me discover that I am passionate about problem solving. My greatest satisfaction comes from exercising my innovative and tenacious spirit to map out a course to success for new and struggling businesses. I aspire to be the one to empower individuals and organizations with life changing ideas to truly make a difference and succeed in the marketplace.
