My name is Megan Tharp and I recently graduated from the University of Louisville in May of 2023. I obtained my degree in Business Administration in Computer Information Systems with a track in cybersecurity.I learned programming languages such as C#, CSS, SQL, and HTML5. This work proved to be incredibly intriguing, as I learned things such as how to build websites from writing code. I am proficient in Microsoft tools and have earned a Microsoft Excel certification. I chose to work in information technology because it is a huge aspect in today's world, and continues to become more relevant as time progresses. I currently work at Kentucky Farm Bureau, where I worked as a member of the Help Desk for a year, troubleshooting issues for internal employees. I recently moved to the IT Security team as a Security Associate Level 1. I am extremely excited to delve into the world of cybersecurity!
