I am a Therapeutic Recreation student at Winona State University, with an expected graduation date of Spring 2024. My passion is to create inclusive and accessible recreation opportunities for people with diverse abilities and backgrounds. I have gained hands-on experience in leading adaptive recreation programs, such as Wheelchair Football, Adaptive Pickleball, and Adaptive Strength and Conditioning, through the RTTR Practicum at the STAR Center. Through this program, I have developed skills in communication, leadership, and adaptability, as well as witnessed the positive impact of inclusive recreation on participants' well-being and sense of belonging.As a Floor Manager and Banquet Captain at Signatures Restaurant, I manage daily operations, coordinate staff, and oversee customer service. I have successfully handled multiple large-scale events, such as weddings, corporate meetings, and fundraisers, ensuring high-quality service and satisfaction.In addition, I hold certifications in Wilderness First Aid, First Aid/CPR, and Excel, which demonstrate my commitment to safety, health, and productivity. I have also completed the Inclusivity Assessor Training through Inclusion U at SUNY Cortland, which has further enhanced my ability to create inclusive environments.I am eager to connect with organizations that share my vision of promoting inclusive recreation for all.
