Oversees all areas of human resources, volunteer services, administrative services and emergency planning for one of the nation’s leading preventive health agencies. Uses strategic human resource planning to improve business value and advance District goals. Enhances and sustains workplace culture that elevates the District as an employer of choice.Responsibilities:Consults and advises CEO and executive team specifically in the areas of organizational development and training, employee and volunteer engagement, diversity and inclusion, workforce planning, board and executive coaching, change management and risk management.Ensures depth of volunteer and intern pool as a mechanism to address community health priorities, build organizational capacity and strengthen partnership opportunities.Develops and implements systems to ensure alignment of District’s organizational structure and allocation of resources to support the District’s overall health priorities and strategic plan.Responsible for emergency planning and management, developing and maintaining emergency operation plans and coordinating with cities and community partners for disaster relief.Accomplishments:Produced over $1,000,000 of donated time from 1,000 volunteers delivering 36,000 hours of service.Redesigned volunteer engagement strategy into a community health program, with 97% of volunteers surveyed they agree volunteering impacts their life for the better.As Head of Logistics over COVID-19 response efforts, coordinated logistics for 47 pop-up community clinics delivering over 15,000 vaccinations.Engineered employee engagement strategies that earns national recognition, including American Psychological Association’s Psychologically Healthy Workplace Award and #5 on Modern Healthcare’s Best Places to Work in Healthcare.Championed safety practices that led to worker’s compensation Ex-Mod ratio to remain below 1.0 for the past four years.
