I introduce first-year students to critical skills applicable across disciplines. I adapt lesson plans weekly to foster peer collaboration as well as targeted comprehension and retention skill practice. I strategize with Reading and Writing Lab Coordinators to elevate instructional material.

I provide personalized consultations to undergraduate and graduate students from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds in-person and online. I also create well-researched resources for students and UWSC staff.

REU Site: Collaborative Human-Robot Interaction for Robots in the FieldI published my work, and presented orally at the ISVC conference and at UNR's academic poster session. My team constructed a computer vision emotion classifier of comfort and discomfort using body language, facial expressions, and verbal expressions. Mentored by Drs. Emily Hand and Dave Feil-Seifer.
