I have over 13 years of experience in building connected communities through live events.As Chicago Chapter President for the National Association of Professional Women I led our chapter in becoming the 2nd largest in the country through hosting engaging, monthly events and raising over $18,000 for local charities. As I was speaking and leading workshops around the country, I realized there was a need for a community where women entrepreneurs could talk about their struggles in a safe space and support each other through shared ideas and experiences. I developed the Powerful Partners Forum (a curated, peer-advisory community for women) and succeeded in my mission to increase the number of million-dollar businesses that are women-owned.My monthly, invite-only Dinner Parties became a powerful way to attract new women into my program. Women drove in from Indiana, Michigan and Wisconsin to attend. Each dinner supported local women-owned catering and food & beverage companies.So many amazing experiences, relationships and lessons learned through the growth of Powerful Partners, Inc. In 2022 I made the tough decision to close down the programming because it no longer felt aligned.In 2023 I was presented with the awesome opportunity to lead and grow the first Hera Hub location in Chicago and I had so much fun doing it.
