I am a Registered Professional Biologist with more than 16 years of professional experience in wildlife biology, ecology, ecosystems management, and impact assessment. At the Canadian Wildlife Service, I supervise a talented team of upwards of 30+ wildlife biologists, landscape ecologists, GIS specialists, and data scientists/modelers. We conduct species and habitat assessment and monitoring programs in all corners of the province on a range of terrestrial, aquatic, and marine migratory bird species, including species at risk. Under cornerstone programs like the Government of Canada’s Oceans Protection Program, our work supports preparedness and response to oil spills and other pollution events, using an evidence-based approach to policy and decision making, and co-developing monitoring programs with coastal Indigenous groups in the spirit of self-governance and reconciliation.
Listed skills include Wetlands, Environmental Consulting, Endangered Species, Environmental Impact Assessment, and 11 others.
