As an occupational therapy student on Fieldwork 2B, I held my own caseload of patients with a variety if disabilities and injuries. I was responsible for evaluating, documenting, and implementing occupational therapy services in the inpatient acute setting. The populations I primarily worked with included trauma, stroke, orthopedic, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, and dementia.

As an occupational therapy student on Fieldwork 2A, I held my own caseload and planned my own interventions for patients with a variety if disabilities and injuries. In this inpatient rehabilitation setting, I mainly served as part of the spinal cord team involving improving independence in ADLs, educating on spinal cord injuries and related topics, and performing rehabilitation services with patients. I was trained on Saeborejoyce, Armeospring, fluidotherapy, heat/cold packs, electrical stimulation bikes, and Bioness machines. I attended an in-service for bowel and bladder programs with spinal cord injuries. Additionally, I created a project to serve as a resource for intimate topics that may be hard for patients to discuss with health professionals. Other populations I worked with include diagnosis of stroke, amputations, traumatic brain injury, and orthopedic trauma injuries.
