Healthcare innovation & business development leader. Digital health and start-up enthusiast. I have served in product development and business development leadership roles at the AMA and most recently am responsible for driving the roadmap of initiatives that support the AMA’s digital health and medicine strategy. As part of this work, I am responsible for identifying and maintaining strategic partnerships that align with AMA’s strategy and mission. Previously, I have led partnerships and innovation related initiatives, such as the creation of the AMA Interaction Studio at MATTER, a healthtech incubator that enables entrepreneurs and physicians to collaborate on the development of new technologies, services and products in a simulated health care environment, as well as the inaugural AMA Healthier Nation Innovation Challenge. Prior to AMA, I worked in the Consumer Product & Retail vertical at Capgemini and at SmithBucklin Corporation for various clients, primarily in health care. I have past experience creating a start-up company through support at Built in Chicago and 1871 in Chicago; my company received acknowledgement by Crain’s Chicago, Chicago Ideas Week, WGN (Entrepreneur of the Week) and was listed as one of the 24 Coolest New Businesses in Chicago by Business Insider.
