CurrentCareer Readiness for Grades K - 12 at Oswayo Valley School DistrictWork with the Guidance Counselor & both Principals to plan Career Readiness activities for the elementary, middle and high school studentsProvide career counseling and guidance to a diverse population of students, assisting them in identifying their career goals and developing action plansCollaborate with employers to develop internship opportunities for students in various industriesFacilitate mock interviews to enhance students interviewing skills and confidenceMaintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, labor market information, and hiring practices to provide accurate advice to studentsAssist students in researching potential careers by providing resources such as occupational outlook data, salary information, and job market projectionsCoordinate annual career fair and networking events to connect students with potential employers from different industriesCurrently up to date on all clearances to work with all ages in the schools.
